Pest facts

PEST FACTS:

Pest controlling involves knowing as much as you can about the pest you have encountered as well as the strategies that can be used to control that pest.

General pests:

  • Cockroaches
  • Rodents
Timber pests:
  • Termites
  • Wood borer
Others:
  • Bed Bugs
There are many options for controlling pests, but many of these options are tailored to specific pests or problems. Make sure the encountered pest is correctly identified before deciding a treatment or control method.

Integrated pest management(IPM) is a pest control approach which uses the least toxic methods first. It includes common sense methods based on scientific knowledge of the pests and pest control. Methods often include removing pests from food source by blocking their entry into the property, using beneficial organisms, and judicious use of pesticides.
